The Executive Writing course uses the seven traits of effective writing to help participants improve their own work and the writing of those whom they manage. The traits help participants diagnose problems and apply specific strategies to remedy them. The traits also give participants a common language for discussing writing.
You can easily pace this course: spend 10 minutes teaching the lesson on the left-hand page, give participants 10 minutes to complete the activity on the right-hand page, and spend 10 minutes afterward discussing their answers. Then move to the next lesson. A PowerPoint lets you teach right from the screen, and pre- and post-assessments track learning.
